1981 Honours Graduate - Humber College Music Program(Jazz) - with Vocal Scholarship

toured Canada & United States with various cover bands as lead and background vocalist

1983 toured Southwestern Ontario with Major Hooples’ Boarding House playing keyboards and singing

1985 With Guido Basso and her own band, and tours bar circuit throughout Ontario and Quebec, and is also becoming one of the most in-demand studio singers in Toronto, singing jingles, commercials and backup vocals on demand. At the same time, she’s playing society galas, Saturday night dances, conventions and charity balls

1993 Releases “I Don’t Love You Anymore” and
“It’s Always Love” as singles to Country radio

1993 “Daddy’s School” Massive airplay builds artist profile and helps garner Rena a nomination for ‘Outstanding New Artist’ at the Big Country Awards sponsored by RPM Magazine

1995 “Out On A Limb” - Rena’s highly-acclaimed debut album is released, Media response - “One of the best independent country releases in ages”, raved The Record. “A benchmark” reported Greg Shannon, co-host of the syndicated radio show ‘Craven A - Today’s Country’. “A brilliant singer”, exclaimed Steve Glassman, producer of CBC’s Country Beat TV Show

1996 nomination for “Outstanding New Artist”. Rena’s signature song quickly became “All She Wants” as the video was in heavy rotation on NCN for over twelve weeks!!

1997 nomination for “Female Artist of the year”

2001 – Present “At Your Feet” CD of original compositions is released and promotion starts at radio. Rena receives nom-nods for several CGMA Covenant Awards and “Just As I Am” is titled Southern Gospel Song of the year.
